Common questions
Does a musty smell mean mold?
A musty, earthy smell is one of the most common signs of hidden mold or moisture, but only an inspection can confirm it.
Do I need a mold test?
Not always. TDLR notes testing to find out what kind of mold is present is not required before remediation or cleaning. The EPA says if you can see or smell mold, focus on fixing moisture and cleanup.
